Star Gems is a new feature that was introduced in 2020 with the launch of the Unity client.
Star Gems are similar to the previous Respects system, which was removed when the former client was discontinued. Each Gem costs the giver 1 ducket, and there is no daily limit on how many Gems you can give each day.
There are also two new achievements - Star gem provider and Star gem collector.
