K-Town is the Habbo campaign that ran throughout June 2022[1]. It is based on Korean culture and K-pop music, and also incorporated elements of LGBTQ+ to celebrate Pride Month.

The launch of the campaign saw the release of new rares, crackables and a new Limited Edition rare.

Two crackable items were also released during this campaign, both inspired by the success of K-pop.

Idol Beauty Box

The first crackable released for this campaign was the Idol Beauty Box, the contents of which contained beauty items such as make up and nail varnish, along with photo frames and vinyl records. Three clothing items were also included, however users had a lower probability of receiving these.

A new Limited Edition rare was also released during this campaign; the Rainbow Pillow LTD. This Limited Edition rare follows on from the previous releases of other rainbow recolours of classic rares; such as the Rainbow Powered Fan, Rainbow Elephant Statue and the Rainbow Dragon Lamp.

Welcome to K-Town

Along with the launch of the campaign, the Welcome to K-Town room was launched. This showcased furniture items from the K-Town line, and upon using the drinks machine users received a free badge.

K-Town Games

[KHW] Backstage Pass

The first game, titled "Backstage Pass" centered around finding new outfits for the members of Whitepurple. Bots of the group members would exit the Changing Cubicle and users were instructed to select the corresponding items of clothing. Once completed, players received an exclusive badge.

[KHW] Whitepurple Lightsticks

The second game included in this series centred around the Lightsticks furniture item that was found in the campaign's crackable items. The story stated that Whitepurple had designed their own lightsticks for their concert; however the packaging company had dropped them in the incorrect location and users were responsible for correctly delivering them.

All successful players received an exclusive badge for the event, as well as an Emerald Anteater as a prize.

[KHW] Recording Studio

For the next game, users had to work as a producer on Whitepurple's album by stepping on coordinating colour tiles in timing with the song's rhythm.

The fourth game entailed the user working to protect the members of the group from paparazzi. All successful players earned an exclusive badge and an Emerald Anteater.

[KHW] Whitepurple in Habbo!

For the conclusion of this miniseries of games, the group Whitepurple held a concert. However, one of their members was sick and so the task of the player was to cover and take part in the concert. Upon completion of the game, users received a badge.

[BaW] Bobbamon

During this campaign, a new Builders at Work event was launched titled "Bobbamon"[2]; which was based on and themed after the popular Japanese franchise Pokemon. The aim of the event was to complete the set of challenges and become a Bobbamon Master. Users who completed the entire event received four exclusive badges.

K-Pop Video Competition

During this campaign, Habbo launched a video competition</ref>K-Pop Video Competition!</ref> in which users were asked to create a short music video along to their favourite K-Pop song.

All users who entered the competition received an exclusive badge and an Emerald Anteater. Five runners up received a new easel furniture item; meanwhile the winner also received a Filter Photobooth Rare.
