HC: Signature Edition

A previously planned release for real-world merchandise, dubbed "HC: Signature Edition", had been put on hold after intensely negative initial feedback for the project. In January 2025, it was announced that the project and the partnership had been cancelled in its entirety[2].

Vaults

Towards the end of the month, an announcement was made[3] stating that the Vaults feature would be removed. This had been a contentious addition that penalised players who did not purchase Credits for real-world currency, and Habbo noted that it is possible to remove it now that there are few-to-no methods of automating (bot farming) free credits through level progressions and achievements.
