The golden_apple name was released on the 30th September 2013 and it was another Limited Edition Rare Habbo released. It was released during their Back To School campaign that featured other limited rares that were on sale between 6-8 hours including the Rare Gilded Desk and Rare Gilded Chair. Unlike the golden_apple name, these didn't include the unique number, therefore all of them are worth the same value.
Immediately upon release, players saw that the name of the item was incorrect and believed it would have been named similar to the earlier rares, or just Golden Apple Rare. This wasn't the case and the name has remained the same since its release. Likewise with similar errors, the description read 'golden_apple name desc'.
Unlike many other Limited Edition Rares such as the Evil Bunny Lair and Cherry Tree, the golden_apple name takes up 4 spaces in a Habbo room and features a golden apple encased in a glass cabinet similar to a museum piece.
Originally, the rare was sold for 300 Credits per unit with 180 available to buy, making it a medium Limited Edition Rare due to quantity. Many players bought it originally for the badge which is usually added to a player's account immediately after purchase - in this case there was a delay. Unfortunately, players' opinions were negative for the rare as it was too expensive for what it was.
