Teleporters were released on November 2001. When Teleporters were introduced into Habbo, it revolutionised the way Habbos could play and move around the hotel. There is a Teleporter for almost every type of furni range. There are also very rare Teleporters like the Architeuthis. Since there is no way of showing that two Teleporters are linked, there are many that don't link or that go to random rooms. This caused a lot of annoyance throughout Habbo but yet still to this day, Habbo staff have done nothing about it.

The original Catalogue description was:

“	“Habbo Doors are actually space-age teleport boxes that beam you from one room to another! Buy a pair, put one in each room and you've got your own suite! You can either link two of your own rooms or link to a friend's (just give them one of the doors). From only 3 Credits a pair.”

Uses

Teleporters can be utilised in many ways, the most common of which being to link two rooms together; whether they are owned by the same person or not. One example of this would be in the popular game Takeshi's Castle (Carnival) in which many rooms filled with different games are linked together. Habbos can also use Teleporters to transport themselves from one spot to another in large rooms or to create unique games such as 'Guess the Teleport'. 

"Classic" Teleporters

These are the very first Teleporters that were introduced into the catalogue under the furniture line "Teleporters". They have been in the catalogue since November 2001. Here are the classic Teleporters:

Other Teleporters

All other types of Teleporters have either been released in a furniture range or as part of a campaign (e.g. the Imperial Teleport was handed out as a Habbo Club gift), the only exception to this was the Mall Teleport which was only handed out to Habbo Mall Competition winners and some official Fansite's help desks. No-one had a linking pair due to each user only receiving 1 Mall Teleporter, the other remained inside the Habbo Mall. They were released some time after, so everyone could buy them. International Teleporters

There are some teleports that were released for other hotels that are not english speaking, so they're not on Habbo.com. These are the teleporters;

It's supposed that people could buy real life Easter eggs, and inside them there was a code that you can exchange on habbo and get the Teleport, some effects or another furni. The teleport has been spotted on the international english hotel, on J:Nick:C's room "DON'T PANIC" with 2 sets, along with other international brand furniture that was never supposed to be on the .com hotel. Habbo 2020 Updates

Selecting a teleport in the Habbo 2020 'build mode' shows a "Relink" option

The release of Habbo 2020 saw a new feature through which players could select teleporters and "Relink" them. This allows players to link any two teleporters together; regardless of whether they are from the same line. For example, users could link a Top Spin Teleport with a Tiki Teleport. The release of this feature also meant that players could sell their single teleporters in the MarketPlace, however when purchasing teleporters from the catalogue users would still receive a linked pair.
