Rugs, now known as Carpets, are a type of furniture which you can place other furniture on and walk over. There are many types of rugs you can buy from the catalogue, and occasionally you can get rare rugs (or patches) which are sold for a limited time only. Rugs have been released each year for different occasions, the coloured Rugs especially give a relax impression and fit in well with other furni. Some rugs such as the Tiki Sand Rugs come in handy for summer and most work well with various furni such as Rollers and SFX due to their appeal, appearance and sound in some cases.

Some rugs do not even look like rugs, the first of these was the Petal Patch, which looks like long grass and flowers rather than a traditional rug.

• in the old days, Habbo's used colored rugs as 'environment'; green rugs as 'grass', blue rugs as 'water' etc..
