Habbox.com Version Eight

Version Eight is the current version of the Habbox website, which launched in August 2019.

History

Planning for Version Eight begun shortly after the launch of Version Seven in November 2016 by Site Manager at the time, Tom and the now-defunct Site Designers team.

It was originally planned for a New Years Day release, but unforeseen circumstances and discussions to improve features before launch seen this date pushed back.

Launch

The design of the current version of Version Eight was finalised in early 2017 and was launched on 2 August 2019, in time for the 2019 Habbox Summer Spectacular.

The site features a slimmed-down menu and user navigation, but many features were consistent from the previous version.

Staff Panel

The Habbox Staff Panel was redesigned in line with the new main site on 23 November 2019.

Forum Skin

A matching HabboxForum skin was released on 2 December 2019 and changed to the default skin for new users.
