Habbo Dreams was a Mobile Game focused around touch-typing that was created and released by Sulake in July 2005. It was the first Habbo-themed mobile game that Sulake had developed and was available for download via the "Habbo Shop". Various tournaments took place in the hotel regarding this game and several Rares were released to the top players of the game.

Habbo Dreams was a relatively simple game to play. Users could select the difficulty of the game/how long each game would last and once the "nightmare" began players needed to type the letters that appeared above the head of various nightmares, such as Crocs and Ducks, before they reached the Lodge Bed. If an incorrect letter was typed, the nightmares walked faster and if an entire word was typed wrong, the player lost a life. Moreover, as the game progressed, common words would start to be misspelt on purpose in order to reduce the typing speed of the player.

Players could choose from three different modes of gameplay:

  • Story Mode: Where players progress through differently-themed levels.
  • Arcade: Where players tried to obtain high scores in the levels they'd already unlocked.
  • My Game: Where players themselves could enter up to 15 words of their choice to be used in their own gameplay.

You could score more points either by picking up the 'multiplier' power-ups, or by obtaining three flowers (either red, white, or blue) and consequently playing the leaping sheep mini-game. In addition to this, other power-ups such as 'extra life', 'slow' and 'bonzai', which destroyed all nightmares on the screen, could be obtained. There were 10 different levels and "touch typing" was generally a requirement from levels seven to ten. If the player managed to complete the game, they would be presented with an additional "bonus dream" level. The game was released at a price of £5.00 and was made unavailable to download from 2008/2009 onwards.
