The Yellow Parasol is a Classic Rare which was first released into hotels back in 2003. It has been featured as a prize in a few competitions, such as the "Hot and Cool" competition which took place in 2010.
The Yellow Parasol was released three days after the Green Parasol was introduced into the hotel, and it caused quite a lot of excitement due to it being one of the very first recolours released. It remained in the catalogue for a few days and was then replaced with the Purple Parasol.
The least rare Parasol is the Yellow Parasol due to it being released in every hotel. All the hotels received this via the Catalogue apart from the Australian hotel as it was given away as a competition prize. However, for a temporary period it was also available as a prize in the Ecotron.

Trivia
- On every single hotel except Habbo Australia, the Yellow Parasol was released into the Catalogue. It was brought into circulation in Habbo Australia via contests, rewards or gifts.
- On January 22nd 2005, the Yellow Parasol was released along with a number of other super rares, normal rares and seasonals in a catalogue page called Palsternakka for around five minutes.
