The Wheel of Fortune is a piece of Furni on Habbo. It was released with the V11 Rares category; and was introduced to the Accessories range for a short while. It is an item of Wall Furniture - similarly to Posters and Flags, although takes up the whole wall space. When it was released, it cost 8 Credits.
The Wheel of Fortune is used often in Habbo Events and Games, including Don't Touch The Floor and other games of chance such as variations on Don't Roll a Six and Bingo. Many Habbos also use the Wheel in room designing, either in game-show rooms or just for the colourful nature of it. This was also occasionally found in most casinos when they were not banned, Habbo's were allowed to x5 their bet, if they guessed the correct colour which The Wheel Of Fortune landed on.
It was first released in the French Hotel in November 2007, and quickly spread through the other hotels over the next few months due to its popularity.
Design
The design of the Wheel of Fortune is based on the popular Worldwide TV gameshow of the same name - where contestant would spin the wheel for a prize. The golden/yellow outline and colourful insides which light up in a clockwise motion are also directly influenced from the gameshow.
