The Silver Elephant came before the Bronze Elephant oddly as really bronze or gold should be first, that aside this Super Rare also came into Hotels from 2003 and has been an intriguing and popular casino item since. Just like the Bronze Elephant, the United Kingdom was the first to release the Super Rare via the catalogue in September 2003, this was the rare before the Bronze Elephant making it the 11th rare. Similarly to the Bronze Elephant, some Hotels haven't had such an item released and appears as though that some Hotels had one or two of the elephants but not the final one; making them each have an incomplete set, then again, they wouldn't know different without doing research.
Releases
The release of the Silver Elephant has expanded over the years and most hotels have it (except Brazil and France). Below outlines the years the Super Rare was released:
- United Kingdom, September 2003
- Finland, October 2003
- Switzerland, March 2005
- Singapore, June 2006 (competition prize)
- Netherlands, August 2006
- Sweden, Denmark and Germany, April 2008
Although years are unknown the item was released in Australia, Spain and Italy via a competition whereas United States and Canada had the release within the catalogue.
Trivia
- On January 22nd 2005, the Silver Elephant was released along with a number of other super rares, normal rares and seasonals in a catalogue page called Palsternakka for around five minutes.
