The Rainbow pod chair was one of the most wanted Limited Edition Rares available on the hotel. It was brought via the Plasto removal promotion at the beginning of May 2012. The Rainbow pod chair was released in a batch of 2000 (the maximum amount a Limited Edition Rare has been released currently) and sold out within the first minute of release. The price was 75 Credits and is still worth around the release price with some selling for 100 Credits each time!
With the Limited Edition Rares each item is given a number situated that one item - these are unique identification numbers and each time a player bought an item a random number was given with them. In the Rainbow pod chair case the lowest was #1 with the highest #2000.
Many players waited tirelessly for the Pod to be released and when it eventually did characters made sure they bulked up on the item (whilst they still could). The item was released on 12th May 2012 and is still available through trading although not in the Catalogue anymore.
