The Habbowood Chair was formerly known as the Director's Chair and fits into the Super Rares category for Habbo. It was first seen in 2007 via the Catalogue on four hotels, but was one of the rarest items on the Habbo.co.uk site due to its release being limited to two competitions. The first release on Habbo UK was during the HAFTAs in 2007, where each winner per category (10 in total) received the chair. The final release occurred around a month later during a Funky Friday competition - a sub-challenge was to create a video for the "Bullybuster Blockbuster" campaign and the winner received a Habbowood Chair. This rare was also awarded to six finalist in the "Webbies" competition on Habbo.com.au. On Habbo.com 16 of these chairs were given out during a Habbo Card Promotion. If Habbo's bought a $25 Habbo Card from Blockbuster they would receive a free Theatre Seat Trio and also had a chance to be a randomly selected daily winner to receive the Habbowood Chair when the card was redeemed.

On November 7th 2025, the Habbowood Chair was introduced to the Collector Cabinet, featuring other iconic items from Habbo's history, as seen here. With that, the total on Habbo.com is likely to be fewer, since users may have converted these into NFT.

As of February 20th 2026, a collective total of 232 Habbowood Chair have been transferred to NFT on TokenTrove across all hotels.
