The Ditch The Label Flag Machine is a miscellaneous super rare, item-giving furniture on Habbo.com (International). It has the appearance of a vending machine, in much the same style as The Moodi Machine and Banana Drink Machine. It gives any interacting user a small flag, which represents the logo of its brand, Ditch The Label.

The machine rotates two ways, facing left and facing right. When used, the red light turns to green, whilst the lower flap flips open - the user is then given 'handitem1048' also known as a Ditch The Label flag.

It is a recolour of the other Ditch the Label machines, known as the Ditch the Label Equality Machine, Ditch the Label Golden Vault and Blue Ditch the Label Equality Machine.

Release

Ditch The Label has been an ongoing campaign partner of Habbo. It has previously been linked with anti-bullying campaigns, promotional events and the giving out of badges bearing its logo or slogans.

This campaign was an external one, in which Habbos were eligible to win the prize through a competition on the Ditch The Label website, not on Habbo. On October 10th 2013 - Ditch The Label announced a competition on its Campaign Updates page on its organisational website, calling for designs for a new wristband to promote the brand. This would be done through their own design tool, allowing creators to design an outer and inner image on the wristband through the organisations' promotional Facebook page.

The competition closed on 20th October 2013, with the winners being announced on the 8th November. The winning entry designed a minimal style wristband, showing the Ditch The Label logo and a simple message: 'LOVE CONQUERS HATE'. Other runners up were also congratulated and were all eligible to receive the in-game rare, though the winner received a real-life prize pack on top.

Regardless of # of applicants for the competition, it's been verified that many more Black Ditch The Label Machines were handed out. There are approximately 20 or more active Black DTLs on Habbo as of 2018.

There was some confusion following their release, with many Habbos not knowing about the competition. It was thought to have appeared in an advertisement box on the right hand side of the Habbo website, which many users did not pay attention to, or wouldn't have seen due to programs such as Ad Block, that would disable the ad from appearing. Either way, after the Flag Machines were given out, more users expressed an interest in the competition and would have entered if they'd had known about it..

In 2020, Ditch the Label returned to Habbo and launched a new Support Hub room. This room included 17 Flag Machines on display.
