Chicks were released on Habbo on the 21st April 2011. They can be bought in the Catalogue during Easter-time for 20 Credits. When the Chicks were first released, a Rare Chick Badge was given to those who bought the pet within the first week of release. There are only one species of Chicks available, however, during the Easter Campaign in 2013, 4 additional colours were introduced for the duration of the campaign. Each Chick comes with its own Starter Food (Corn) and a Trampoline for it to play on. Additional Pet Food and Accessories can be bought under the Pet Food and Toys And Accessories section, under the Pet Shop tab in the Catalogue. All Chicks are able to be trained by their owners and, by doing so, they level up, resulting in the owner completing achievements. Each Chick can be named, but once they are paid for that will be its name forever as you are unable to change this setting.

There is only one type of Chick, and it comes in 5 different colours. There are also two types of pigeons that are often released with the Chick.

Easter Campaign (2013)

In March the 12th, 2013, during the Easter Campaign, 4 additional Chick colours were introduced and were available to be bought throughout the campaign. Each colour came with their own respective badge when bought and they cost 20 Credits each. The additional colours were as follows:

• Pink - Priced at 20 Credits when released and came with a badge.
