The Year of the Snake is a celebration of the Chinese New Year for the Snake zodiac.

The first time Habbo celebrated this was in February 2013 alongside the valentines campaign Masquerade Ball. A stone Snake Statue as well as the poster were released. A big event was held involving a maze where Habbos could collect badges of all zodiac signs with 1 special badge at the end.

The Second time Habbo celebrated this was in January 2025, This saw the release of the Golden Snake Statue and Snake Accessories.

• 2013 (Your element is Water)

People born in the year 2025, the year Habbo celebrated this, their element is Wood. The next time this will be celebrated is in 2037 and their element will be Fire.

Chinese New Year Maze

In 2013, Habbos had to go around rooms in order to find the statues of the Chinese zodiacs. Finding them result in a badge. The 'King of Jade' badge was the last one, all Habbos had to do answer a couple of questions about Chinese New Year.
