The Year of the Goat is a celebration of the Chinese New Year for the Goat zodiac.

The first time Habbo celebrated this was in February 2015 alongside the Ancient Japan campaign. A stone statue, Balloon and a poster were released as well as a room bundle. The Sheep Balloon was first exclusively to the Room Bundle, but later rereleased every year. Also a room competition was held in where players had to build the goat out of blocks. The winner of this competition received an exclusive badge.

For current Habbo players their zodiac started in either of these years:

• 1991 (Your element is Metal)
• 2003 (Your element is Water)
• 2015 (Your element is Wood)

The next time this will be celebrated will be in February 2027.

Trivia

• This zodiac is also called Sheep which comes from the word yáng that refers to both goats and sheep.
• A Goat mask effect can be bought in the Catalogue which has the same head shape as the statue, only in color.
