Help:Pets
Pet Pages are pages on the Wiki which explain Pets and their history. There is a clearly set out format to Pet pages which should be followed when creating them and the guide below will help you do this.
Which Pets need a page?
You should only to create Pet pages for an entire pet group, not an individual species of said group - so e.g. Croc, not Nile Dile Croc or Krazy Krokodilis Croc. The only exception to this is for Category:Exclusive Pets, however due to the scarcity of such pets we shall not deal with those here.
"Pet" is also understood to mean one that you can feed, train and scratch, not a furniture item named something like "Pet Spider".
Creating Pet Pages
The first step is to type the name of the pet into the top-right search box exactly as it appears on Habbo, even if spelt incorrectly by Sulake. If no results appear once you press enter, then go ahead and click the red text in order to start the creation of the page.
You should now be presented with a text editing box for you to type your information in. First and foremost you should add the following to the page before you write anything else:
- The pet Infobox. This should be at the very top of the text box and is inserted by filling out the appropriate fields - an example is this one from the Croc page:

After this you should start typing about the Pet in question. Normally a brief overview is given at the top about the Pet, in which the most notable aspects of the animal are mentioned. A good example of a well-written introduction would look like this:
Bears were initially released on Habbo in early December 2009 as part of the Christmas 2009 campaign the Advent Calendar and were the fourth Pet to be introduced to the hotel. They are currently still available under the "Pet Shop" section of the Catalogue for a price of 20 credits, which is one of the more moderately priced Pets available from the Catalogue. Alongside this, Bears, like most Pets on Habbo, were also introduced with their own unique Pet Accessories - a bed and food items - as well as being available in four different species.
Next you should proceed to create a species sub-heading (like on the Croc page) with the content as follows:
==Available Species== * Here is a * Bullet point list * With all available * Species for the * Pet in question * Gained via Catalogue.
And after that you should create one more sub-heading with the content as follows:
==Associated Pet Accessories== * Here you should make another bullet point list * Containing the Pet Accessories that were released with said pet * You should link the names to the Pet Accessories page * Cabbage (this is the name) - Like so.
If you need to add anymore content, you should use one more sub-heading and type the content below it:
==Trivia== or ==Pet Campaign== or ==Controversy== etc. depending on the content
Pet Badges
If the Pet was released with Badge(s) made available for it, they should be displayed in a table as follows:
A clear example of this is available on the Chick page at the bottom.
Final Touches
At the very bottom of your text editing box, below all text, should be:
- A NavBox - the one you are most likely to need is the one titled Pets; simply type
NavBox Pets
- A category - example
