Freeze Furni Glitch
The Freeze Furni Glitch was a glitch concerning the Winter Sports Packs which had been added to the Catalogue as part of the Christmas 2011 campaign in Habbo. It was a short-lived glitch, but it had a long lasting and adverse effect on the value of Freeze furniture in the economy.
When Sulake updated the catalogue at approximately 10:00am, the price for the Winter Sports Pack 3 containing 42 Freeze items was placed at 0 Credits by mistake. This consequently allowed people to acquire up to tens of thousands of free Furniture items from the Freeze range until the glitch was resolved approximately 15 minutes later. Shortly after this, Sulake made the decision to disable trading throughout the hotel until 3pm the same day in order to stop the spread of these items. During this period, most users simply put their items into the Ecotron in the hopes of acquiring a high-value item such as a Mushroom.
To the surprise of many players, Sulake did not remove Furniture from anyone's account and merely left the situation as it was. This is most likely due to the fact that only a handful of users exploited the glitch due to the 15 minute timeframe, alongside the fact that no actual Credits were gained illegally unlike in more notorious glitches such as the Splash Plastic Glitch and the Gold Bar Rush.
