The Year of the Horse is a celebration of the Chinese New Year for the Horse zodiac.
The first time Habbo celebrated this was in January 2014. A stone statue and a poster was released as well as a room bundle.
The second time this was celebrated was in February 2026. At the end of January 2026 a Horse Accessory set was released as well as 3 mini horse statues. In February that year 4 Horse Chest Prints and a Year of the Horse Crown, which are all NFT Clothing items were released.
For current Habbo players their zodiac started in either of these years:
- 1990 (Your element is Metal)
- 2002 (Your element is Water)
- 2014 (Your element is Wood)
People born in 2026, the year Habbo celebrated this for the second time, their element is Fire. The next time this will be celebrated is in 2038 and their element will be Earth.

- The Horse is the only zodiac that does not (yet) have a golden version of it. It is unknown why this wasn't designed for 2026 since all other statues from 2019 on till now have a golden version.
