Habbo Presidents

A Habbo President is a member of the hotel that has been elected into a presidential role; although the player is not included as Habbo Staff.

2017 Habbo Funlections

On April 11th, the 2017 Habbo Funlections were announced; a competition in which players would be able to compete to be Habbo President for the month of May. 16 candidates were selected from all who entered, with each candidate receiving an exclusive badge at each stage of the competition. The final three would receive one week of Builders Club and Habbo Club while the winner would receive one month of Builders Club and Habbo Club and a trophy.

The 16 selected candidates were announced on April 17th, with articles being published detailing each entrant's reasonings for being chosen. The candidates were announced as:

Following this, a live debate took place. The polls were opened once again and the final four were announced as:

• Satu (16.8%)

The final four candidates took place in a Meet and Greet and players once again voted, this time for a winner, and the President was announced as UnderCover. with 45.8% of the vote.

2020 Habelections

The 2020 Habelections were announced on April 3rd with an outline of the structure and timeline of the campaign and information on how players could enter the competition. The President's role would be to be the President of Fun and create competitions that would take place throughout month of May 2020.

The prizes were an exclusive badge for all candidates, one week of Builders Club and Habbo Club for the final three, and the winner of the competition would receive one month of Builders Club and Habbo Club, a trophy and another exclusive badge.

On April 13th, the 10 canidates were announced as:

Over the next days Habbo released articles about the candidates. On April 18th, the polls were opened and Habbos could go to the Hall of Habbo to vote for their top 6. The final 6 candidates participated in a live debate on April 22nd and on April 23rd the polls opened again to vote the top 3.

The final 6 candidates (and the percentage of the top 6 votes they received) were:

• Clatter (15.4%)
• Corlay (10.9%)
• C5 (8.9%)
• AeroChicken98 (7.9%)

This was followed by another live debate, with the final poll taking place on April 28th. Pulx was announced as president on April 29th after receiving 44.4% of the vote. Kalesalad received 36.9% and Clatter 18.7%. Pulx's presidency position ran from 29th April to May 31st 2020.

After his election, President Pulx planned a plethora of competitions for creators, badge events, live events, tournaments, agency insight and support, trading market focus and an award ceremony to take place throughout the month of May 2020. Habbos were invited to join his official group and take part in the group forum. His inauguration came with the following message of thanks:

"A big thanks to all my supporters that came out to vote for me - a special thanks to all the agencies, traders and creators - you showed how impactful you are on this hotel. "As I said throughout my campaign, this month will be about empowering and showing the best of Habbo. MAY is for you, all of you. I intend to deliver on the promises I’ve made."

Room Competition: Design the Habelection 2020 Debate Hall

Alongside the Habelection competition there was a competition to design the debate hall for the two live debates that would occur during the campaign. The top three halls received a Great Farm Bake Bundle and 10 runners-up received 14 days of Builders Club. Everyone who entered received a badge and a Citrine Seal.

The winner whose room was chosen was Oivind.

President Pulx's Classic 00's Games Night

An in-game pop-up announcing the start of President Pulx's Classic 00's Games Night.

Following on from the 2020 Hablections, Habbo President Pulx organised many events during the month of May. The first event was 6 hours of classic Habbo games.There were badges for those won won the events and extra badges for Habbos who won multiple events during the six hours.

President Pulx's Dream Badge Designer Competition

This competition asked Habbos to submit their own badge designs for use in future competitions. One design would be chosen as the winner with 10 runners up. The prize for the best submissions would be one month of Habbo Club and having the winning designed uploaded onto the hotel. The runner-up received three days of Habbo Club and all entrants were awarded an (as then unreleased) purple Presidential Seal of Approval for their submitted badge designs, this was gifted from Habbo staff anonymously with the tag 'Thank you for entering Pulx's badge competition!'

President Pulx's Ultimate Game Designer Competition

The Ultimate Game Designer competition asked Habbos to create a unique game to play inside of the hotel. Everyone who entered received a Presidential Seal of Approval, the winner won a Serenity Health Spa Bundle and the chance to have Habbos play their game, and the 10 runners up received 14 days of Habbo Club.

The winner of the event was BenFurni with the game Escape from Pompeii.

President Pulx Presents: Kwl's 50 Maze Event

Habbox were able to collect two badges by completing the Habbo Maze which was a 50 level maze created by Kwl.

The Trader's Event was an event focused on Habbo's trading community. It included an article written by B about how to get started and make a profit trading, and a maze where Habbos could receive three badges.

President Pulx Presents: Priorities' Mega Dangerzone

Priorities' Mega Dangerzone was a tournament to see who is the all-time Danger Zone champion. Over four days a wired version of Danger Zone was open and the Habbos who had won the most times by being in the top five of the room leaderboard won a badge and President's Seal of Approval. Any Habbo who won a game also won a badge.

President Pulx & Okeefinokee Present: Ancient Building Competition

The Ancient Building Competition was organised by Okeefinokee who asked Habbos to create a room themed on ancient civilizations. All entrants received a badge and the winner won 31 days of Builders Club, a badge, and had their room featured in the Navigator.

A Presidential Goodbye from Pulx

On June 16 Pulx's run as President came to an end with the oppurtunity for Habbos to receive two badges by going to Pulx's Presidential Palace and listening to a speech thanking Habbos for the event and recognising some Habbos for their contributions to the community, who all received a special badge.

Pulx's message was:

Thank you for making me your President of Fun for May 2020. My Presidency was focused on empowering different areas of our community, spotlighting incredible users and raising awareness to different ways we all play this game. My term is ending today, but I wanted to thank everyone who supported my campaign including those that contributed to the month of May, you’re all amazing. However, before I leave this position, I’m going to end my presidency by once again spotlighting some incredible Habbos that I feel have made the largest contribution to our community over many years. All of these Habbos will be given an exclusive ‘Presidential Medal of Recognition’ badge - the highest Habbo civilian honour!
