Gaming Tickets
Gaming Tickets or Game Tickets were a form of redeemable points used to grant users access to certain games such as SnowStorm and Wobble Squabble prior to 2008. Four (strictly speaking five if the Battle Ball versions are counted as separate games) Official Games required 1 ticket per play, whilst all other games and the Cunning Fox Game Hall remained free to play for all users. They were first introduced during the early moments of Habbo in 2001 for Diving; first priced at 2c for 5 Gaming Tickets (later at 1c for 2 or 6c for 20) and could in their time be used on any of the following games:
- BattleBall (and BattleBall Rebound)
- SnowStorm
- Lido Diving
- Wobble Squabble.
Users also originally had the option to acquire tickets from the Ecotron and Gaming eXperts were also given a monthly ticket allotment to assist them with their duties. Gaming Tickets were no longer necessary from the 5th May 2009, the day which Lido Diving was made free to play (BattleBall and SnowStorm had been made free in February 2008 whilst Wobble Squabble had closed), thus meaning they became extinct.
Trivia
- Habbo.fr users were able to acquire Gaming Tickets for free on the first day that Release 9 was implemented - 12th January 2006. Some players had their tickets taken away from them, but others did not and ended up with hundreds for free.
