The Crystal Patch was one of the rares released in the reborn Catalogue Rares, this was later accompanied by other furniture such as the Gigantic Beanstalk and the Rare Iron Maiden.
As with most rares and Collectibles, it was available to purchase in the Catalogue for 25 Credits.
Along with being a new rare for Habbo, at the time of release it was also the biggest floor item released seen since the Executive Carpet - at a measurement of 3x3 spaces.
