The Year of the Tiger is a celebration of the Chinese New Year for the Tiger Zodiac.
The first time Habbo celebrated this was in February 2010. In February 2022 it was celebrated again alongside the Van Life campaign. This time two new statues and an accessory set was released. The Tiger Poster existed already.
For current Habbo players their zodiac started in either of these years:
- 1986 (Your element is Fire)
- 1999 (Your element is Earth)
- 2010 (Your element is Metal)
People born in 2022, the year Habbo celebrated this has the element Water. The next time this will be celebrated is in 2034 and their element will be Wood.

Trivia
- In the original Asian line there was already a Tiger Seat, a 2-seater bench in form of a Tiger.
- The Tiger Poster is one of the 3 posters that doesn't have the official chinese character but an image of a tiger on it. the other 2 are the Ox Poster and Dragon Poster.
