Pixelolymp
Pixelolymp (translation: PixelOlympus) was a recurring Habbo Competition on Habbo.de based upon graphical design, specifically pixel art. The final format was hosted by the German fansite HabVIP from the 10th June 2014, although in the past it was hosted by both enjoyHabbo and a different Habbo group via the old website Group Forums. Each week, players were given a different theme in which to draw a piece of pixel art (isometric or non-isometric is acceptable, but it must be in a "Habbo" style) about and the independent jury decides upon the best user creation to award a prize to. A rare furniture item called the Olympus Cup (no image provided, most likely because no-one acquired enough wins) and various badges were available to gain, depending upon the number of wins the user had:
- 1 win on HabVIP Pixelolympus
- 3 wins on HabVIP Pixelolympus
- 5* wins on HabVIP Pixelolympus.
*5 Wins is disputed as some news articles stated you required 7 wins to gain the gold badge, despite the badge's motto saying 5.
The competition ended with the 21st round, most likely due to lack of interest but also due to the closure of the HabVIP fansite.
