Twitter is the second most popular social networking site in the world, Facebook being the first. Twitter has over 300 million active users, with over 300 million messages being tweeted each day. The basic idea of Twitter is that you can follow people who interest you and receive all the message they tweet in your Timeline. People can follow you too and receive your tweets in the same way. Each tweet may be no longer that 180 characters.
Habbo regularly tweets messages to their 35,000+ followers, the majority of their tweets are about their latest campaign or news story. Habbo rarely / never replies to tweets they have been mentioned in!
Habbox's Use
Habbox uses Twitter on a day to day basis to keep the community updated with articles, competitions, forum posts and a lot more of other information.
