Beach Bunny Bonfire was an event on Habbo.com in 2008. The following is a transcript of the Habbo articles put out to advertise the event.
Beach Bunny Bonfire
He's giant, he's angry and he's no Peter Cotton-tail!
Everyone was looking forward to Spring Break. Nice weather, school was closed for a few weeks and lots of easter candy. Nice! A taste of Summer weather was in the forecast and lots parties and events were planned. What else could anyone ask for? How about a chance to live another day!!
Attention all Habbos! Be on the lookout for a giant angry bunny (GAB) who attacked some Habbos during a Spring Break bonfire party. Last weekend, Habbos were seen running for their lives as the GAB chased them. All they wanted to do was have a bonfire party on the beach just down the street from the Hotel.
They were just minding their own business and had just lit the barrel, when off in the horizon emerged an enormous white bunny, with sharp teeth and long claws. No one knew what he wanted, but they weren't going to stay there to find out.
They escaped the fierce creature and retreated to the Hotel, unharmed. Now they are staying in the Hotel for the remainder of Spring Break just to be safe. Aside from the frightened teen-agers, no other witness have come forth... yet. If you spot the GAB, please inform us by posting in the Spring Break forums.
In the meantime, everyone should remain calm and act as if this never happened! We have installed new fireproof ceilings (that are invisible) so you can have your own bbq and bonfire parties in the comfort of your own room. But, I don't have a bonfire barrel, Loderse. You can now, Habbos.

Beach Bunny Bonfire Scene Competition
...What's that noise? Did you hear something? What's that in the shadows? OMG! It's a giant Bunny. Run! Hide!...
Beach Bunny Bonfire is the story of a giant rabbit that terrorizes students at a beach bonfire party over Spring Break.
Act out a scene inspired by the Beach Bunny Bonfire story*. Take a screenshot of your room capturing the scene's dialog in speech bubbles and submit it to the competition. Make us laugh, make us cry and make it about a giant bunny.
Judging will be based primarily on the quality of the story and dialogue, but of course, we'll be looking at set design too.
- Arrange your room to set the stage for the scene. Leave your room staged throughout the contest. To be eligible for the prize, we'll need to see the room that is pictured in the screenshot.
- Round up other Habbos to act in the scene and rehearse the timing so that the entire dialog appears in the room at the same time. Only one screenshot will be accepted per entry.
- Take a screenshot of your room. Make sure the text within the speech bubbles is readable. As an added precaution, type the scene’s dialogue into the body of the email.
- Email the screenshot to [email protected]. Put "Beach Bunny Bonfire" in the subject line and include your Habbo's name and room name.
The winner will receive a Habbowood furni set for your budding directing career and 20 coins.
- Photos of actual giant bunnies terrorizing people in real life will not be eligible for prizing.

Count The Easter Eggs
Rules:
At the event time, go to the Easter Egg Count room. 9 Habbos will be admitted to the room at a time.
Once in the room, you'll have exactly 60 seconds to count all the eggs. After 60 seconds the room will be emptied. When you leave the room, come back to this page and enter your answer in the poll below. The poll will only be available during the live event.
Only one vote per person will be counted. Voting more than once can make you ineligible to win prizes.
Prizes:
5 random Habbos, who correctly answer the poll, will win the prize package: 1 month of Habbo Club, 25 coins, and 1 Spring Egg.
Spot The Bunny
There's a crazy bunny on the loose.
Did you see that? There's a crazy bunny streaking through Habbo and his name is puffTail.
He’s clearly on some kind of mission, but what is he looking for? Love, affection, Pura?
Spot the bunny and find out what he’s after. He can be erratic (as many bunnies are), but try talking to him and you may get a hint. Then come back to this page to answer the poll that will be available during the live Spot The Bunny event. A correct answer makes you eligible for a random drawing where 10 lucky Habbos will receive their very own Squidgy Bunny!
PuffTail likes to sleep in, so you probably won't see him around the hotel until around 3pm PT/ 6pm ET on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (On Monday, Wednesday and Friday he works at the egg factory and then has soccer practice.) There's no telling where he’ll show up, but you can always check the Beach Bunny Bonfire Group for clues.
But don't be fooled by impersonators. Look for puffTail’s VIP badge to make sure you’re talking to the right bunny.

New Staff Tames Giant Angry Bunny
Bunny-Whisperer, Smooth Criminal, tames beast with marshmallows.
In case you didn't notice, there was a Giant Angry Bunny (GAB) on the loose attacking beach bonfires. Many Habbos resorted to to throwing bonfire parties in their rooms, but fear no more, the threat is over.
SmoothCriminal has tamed the GAB and he did it with marshmallows.
"Everyone thought GAB attacked because he was afraid of the flaming barrels, but really he just wanted some toasted marshmallows." Said SmoothCriminal, "once I figured that out, the rest was easy."
SmoothCriminal was a staff-member-in-training, who had just completed his last room-building exam when the GAB threat escalated, but taming the giant rabbit made his place on staff official.
