Habbo uses Facebook to post updates, post when the site is down, let users know when there are competitions on and even when there is exclusive furniture/clothes on the way. Many people keep an eye on Habbo's Facebook so that they can see pixel art, new clothes etc before they're released.

Recently, it has been revealed that Habbo will not publish some competitions on their Facebook Page which is probably due to the removal of competitions earlier this year (this was so they could 'update' Habbo more). They will not all be on Facebook though and currently on their page there are ones about finding Platinum bars, how much is this room worth and so on.
