Habbo Madball 2008 was an event held in July 2008 on Habbo Hotel UK.
Go Crazy With Madball
This isn't Soccer, this is madness! ...This is MADBALL!
Do you like to play soccer? Or to watch soccer? Are you into soccer players because... well, you know, they're kinda pretty? Or would you like to walk in the shoes of Fergie or Fabio and boss your Team around? Or do you just HATE soccer because it's too much, too often?
Then Madball is the answer! During Madball, the only thing that matters is how good YOU are at doing YOUR soccer thing and dragging along A LOT of friends with it, so that you end up at the TOP of Habbo's EVENTS CALENDAR! This is how it works:
1) Every day the Staff will turn the events calendar into its Madball version with a host of new soccer-related Categories
YOUR HABBO SOCCER GAME EVENTS:
Show us your and your friends' way of playing soccer in Habbo. A stickie note with the game rules included is a definite plus.
LEGENDARY SOCCER MOMENTS EVENTS:
Ever heard of the Hand of God? Maybe Zidane’s Headbutt rings a bell? What’s YOUR favorite soccer legendary moment? Find likeminded Habbos and recreate that Event!
I HATE SOCCER EVENTS:
Soccer here, soccer there… whether it's the Toronto FC, Liverpool or Barcelona… You just don’t care about 22 idiots running behind a ball and you’d rather be left alone! But since the media won’t leave you alone, show your despise for anything soccer with a fantastic “anti” event. This is MADBALL, after all: ANYTHING can happen!
2) Plan which type of Event you want to organize, fix your Room and looks accordingly and start calling up your Friends!
3) Wait for the Screen Alert from the Referees, create a Madball Event in the Category you have planned and... fill your Room with action and Habbos!
4) Our Referees will visit the top Calendar Events (i.e. the fullest Rooms) of each Category and take a screenshot of the best ones
5) The Referees will pitch the screenshots of the best Events and pick one winner per each Category
6) The winners' screenshots will be displayed in the Madball Group Page, so check that out to see if you're among the exalted Madballers of the day
7) Prize for the daily winners: the unique Red Card Badge and 15 Credits
8) A monster Prize for the top performers? Stay Tuned...

So...much...furni...
Madball kicks off this week in Habbo! If you didn't read the earlier post on all the Madball information, this event is revolved around the idea of "user generated content" or UGC (similar to our very own UGC competitions!). Lasting two weeks.
Naturally, we need some furni to go along with such a huge occasion. We're bringing back all the sports furni into the catalog, with a new collection of Trax mixes! As of right now we also have four deals available for you to save some coin and to get a hold of other Madball related furniture. Keep checking back for future changes to the catalog, more deals will be coming! Also, keep updated with recent Madball events and daily winners on the Madball Group Page.

Madball: Week Two!
As if the first week of Madball wasn't crazy enough, we begin anew! Madball Week Two will feature new events for room hosting, and the Madball Finals. The timeframe for events will remain the same.
BUILD YOUR LEGENDARY STADIUM
Create a legendary Soccer Stadium and fill it up with Habbos. You can or can not have a game going on, what matters is that the full Stadium looks stunning!
I WANNA BE A MANAGER
Do you dig Ferguson or Capello? Mourinho or Domenech? Create your own Manager event: locker room briefing, training session, players’ scolding, and impress the Referee with your leadership skills!
SUPPORT YOUR CLUB
Do you cherish a Club team? Does your heart bleed for Chelsea or Real Madrid? It’s time to prove your passion by creating a cool Team Support Event! Decorate your Room with proper colors, get friends in the proper attire and SHOUT SHOUT SHOUT your team’s anthem or celebrate in other proper ways!
The Madball Finals!
That's right folks! It's been a blast the past two weeks checking out Madball rooms, but it's finally coming to an end. Previous Madball winners would have their winning room posted on the Madball Group Page for a full 24 hours of fame and glory. However...with the Madball Finals, ONE lucky Habbo with his/her Madball room will win the whole thing.
