UKash
UKash is electronic cash and e-commerce system which has been in partnership with Habbo since the 27th July 2006. It was introduced as an alternative method of purchasing Habbo Credits as opposed to phone, debit/credit card and Splash Plastic purchases. In order to use the payment system, users must go to their nearest outlet which provides UKash services, pay for their desired amount of cash they'd like on the card (e.g. £1.00, £2.50) and then they receive a card containing A) a 19 digit activation code and B) the amount of cash they paid at the outlet.
To celebrate the introduction of UKash, a promotion which offered extra value credits from 31st July - 7th August 2006 was released. The offers available were:
- When buying 30 Habbo Credits you would receive 50 Habbo Credits.
- When buying 65 Habbo Credits you would receive 100 Habbo Credits.
- When buying 150 Habbo Credits you would receive 200 Habbo Credits.
Various other Habbo rares have also been offered with UKash purchases in the past; including the Red Laser Door and Violet Laser Portal. To date, UKash is available at over 420,000 outlets in 55 countries.
