Matchwood was the ninth game to be added to the Game Centre amongst Fast Food, Habbo Speedway and Tetrablok. The game originates from the 'match 3' genre, in which the player must match 3 or more of the same blocks to remove them from the game. There's no need to worry that the game may get boring either - there are two methods of play. If you're feeling lonesome, go head to head against another Habbo player. Fancy playing alone? Then that's no problem either, there's an option for you!

When playing in the multi-player mode, you will be put up against a random Habbo from somewhere around the Habbo-sphere and will be pitched head to head. The aim of the game is to have the most blocks your colour, to achieve this simply make the best matches possible in the game at that time. The way to really tickle your opponent's nerves is to match over a block of their colour, which will then make it your own colour. When one of the players have filled their points bar, they will be crowned the winner and may rank up. However if you are playing in single player mode, you will be up against the time. You begin at level 1 which is fairly easy, gradually working up to level 20 in an effort to beat your previous high score - can you reach the top? Just keep an eye on the time bar at the bottom of the game because if this reaches 0, it's game over and you'll have to start from the beginning!
