Dogs are a type of pet on Habbo. They were one of the first ever released pets and can currently be purchased at the price of 20 Credits. There is a large variety of species and colourings that dogs are available in. Just like any other pet, Habbos are able to purchase dogs using the Catalogue under the Pet Shop section, and it will come with its own starter food (Doggy Bones). Pet food and accessories can also be found in this section. All dogs are able to be trained by their owners and, by doing so, they level up, resulting in the owner completing achievements. Upon buying a dog, you are able to choose a colour, species, and a name for your pet. However, once the dog has been paid for, you are unable to change these settings.

The new release of Baby Pets has also introduced the ability to breed dogs, which, as a result, makes you an owner of a baby.

Accessories

Similarly to all other pets, you will receive a Starter Food set when you purchase your dog. Your dog will mostly require a bed, water bowl, and of course, food. Once you're in the Pet Accessories section of the catalogue, you just scroll down to find your dog's accessories. There are different types of beds and food, you just need to decide correctly on which is best for your pet Dog. Another item which could help your Dog is pet toys. Pet toys will entertain your pet when you're not around. They are very inexpensive and are very popular around the Habbo world.
